Art Workshop

The Leonard Stanley Art Workshop has been running for about 20 years, with a weekly meeting at the village hall.

We meet with a set topic to draw or paint. These range from a still life, a study of known painter or a new technique brought by a member to share. Members suggest topics at the beginning of term which we work through.

During the warmer summer months we work outside in various locations not too far away.

Yoga Stretches

Friendly and welcoming classes open to both men and women of all abilities, ages, shapes & sizes to increase your strength, mobility and flexibility.

The style of yoga I teach is Flow Yoga (moving fluidly from one pose to another synchronising breath with movement) combined with some longer 'held' poses to target the connective tissues in our hips, pelvis and lower spine.

With regular attendance, you will soon start to feel the far-reaching effects on both your body and your mind.

Yoga Flow for Beginners

This yoga flow class is suitable for absolute beginners or those with a little experience of yoga.

Together we'll work on building more strength and flexibility in the body, while flowing through the key poses of yoga. Yoga uses the breath, so it also helps us to feel more calm and less stressed 😊

Classes are pay-as-you-go, but I do ask that you book in advance so that I can keep numbers small.
