Village Hall News & Events

Easing of Covid restrictions from July 19th 2021
Good as it is to be progressing, in some ways moving forwards is not so simple for us. We are mindful that people are still very concerned about the virus - cases are obviously rising and many of our clients are vulnerable in one way or another. We need to offer the safest environment so everyone feels comfortable and secure using the hall.
With this in mind we would like to ask you to please follow these suggestions:
Wear masks when entering the building and in the kitchen, toilets and corridor
Keep doors and windows open where practical
Retain sensible social distancing where you can
Sanitising of surfaces that are touched, particularly in the toilets
Sanitising your hands
Use of the QR code/keep a list of your groups
Obviously no-one should come in if they are unwell and I still need to be told immediately if anyone who has been in the hall tests positive please
We will be keeping the sanitisers full and Niki, our cleaner, will be doing some more hours as more of our regular hirers filter back in.
The kitchen is now open again as are all the toilets.
If you want to influence how the Leonard Stanley Village Hall is run, why not get involved and put yourself forward for election at the AGM. The AGM will be held at the village hall on Sunday June 27th at 2:30pm and the following positions are up for election: Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
We are also looking for responsible adults to help out and maybe even become Trustees.
The AGM will be held in compliance with government Covid guidelines and chairs will be socially distanced.

The Village Hall re-opens on May 18th 2021
Subject to Government guidelines and restrictions, normal activities can now resume in the Village Hall.
